I have experience of language teaching including French, German, English, ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) and Adult Literacy. I have BA (Hons) Degree in French & German Studies, a PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education: Modern Languages & English); City & Guilds 730 Certificate for Intending Teachers of Adult & Further Education & City & Guilds Certificate in Teaching Basic Communication Skills. My teaching approach is to nurture self-confidence, raise self-esteem and to increase a deeper understanding of and performance in the relevant subject area. I am a patient and enthusiastic tutor who relates well to children, teenagers and adults from all backgrounds. I can offer 1:1 tuition in the following subjects: French (beginners; GCSE; A Level) German (beginners; GCSE; A Level) English (beginners, GCSE; A Level) Study Skills (including essay writing techniques & exam preparation) Tuition takes place in Norbury, Southwest London. Fees are Initial Assessment: Ł20 Ł20 per hour for minimum course of 6 hours tuition, payable in advance.
